REPAIR OR PURCHASE?
Who does not know this: one awkward movement and the mobile phone falls to the ground. Annoying, but it has probably happened to everyone. The question now arises: what to do?
With a little luck, not much has happened. Maybe a few unsightly scratches on the display – but if you have provided protection for such cases beforehand (e.g. bulletproof glass), this is not a big problem.

But often the smartphone lands badly and the glass of the display splinters. The result is a total failure of the display – and this can be expensive. The prices for a new display are very different depending on the manufacturer. Depending on the model and manufacturer, it must be decided whether a repair is worthwhile.

In general, decisions should always be made based on the device type and type of damage, because there are big differences here. With newer smartphones, such as the current iPhone or the waterproof smartphone from Samsung, the devices are glued by the manufacturer. This of course makes repairs more difficult. Even changing the battery can be a bit of a challenge – especially for laypeople.
